La rupture entre le pr\u00e9sident Bassirou Diomaye Faye et son ancien Premier ministre Ousmane Sonko continue de nourrir les d\u00e9bats au sein de Pastef. Alors que plusieurs responsables du parti multiplient les critiques contre le chef de l\u2019\u00c9tat, le diff\u00e9rend se cristallise notamment autour de la gouvernance et de la politique \u00e9conomique.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

La crise au sommet de l\u2019\u00c9tat s\u00e9n\u00e9galais ne semble pas avoir livr\u00e9 tous ses prolongements politiques. Depuis le d\u00e9part d\u2019Ousmane Sonko de la Primature, les divergences entre les deux anciennes figures de l\u2019ex\u00e9cutif se sont progressivement transform\u00e9es en affrontement politique au sein de leur camp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Selon des \u00e9l\u00e9ments rapport\u00e9s par Jeune Afrique<\/strong>, les partisans les plus proches d\u2019Ousmane Sonko vont jusqu\u2019\u00e0 employer le terme de \u00ab trahison \u00bb pour qualifier l\u2019attitude du pr\u00e9sident Bassirou Diomaye Faye. La d\u00e9put\u00e9e de Pastef Ma\u00efmouna Bousso a notamment accus\u00e9 le chef de l\u2019\u00c9tat d\u2019avoir men\u00e9 un \u00ab coup d\u2019\u00c9tat d\u00e9mocratique \u00bb et d\u2019avoir \u00ab trahi son serment \u00bb. Ces propos rel\u00e8vent de son appr\u00e9ciation politique de la situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Une fracture d\u00e9sormais assum\u00e9e<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Le d\u00e9saccord entre les deux dirigeants s\u2019est install\u00e9 progressivement. Avant m\u00eame la rupture \u00e0 la Primature, plusieurs divergences \u00e9taient apparues sur la conduite du pouvoir, les relations avec les acteurs de l\u2019ancien r\u00e9gime et surtout la gestion des finances publiques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le quotidien Le Monde<\/strong> avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 document\u00e9, en mai 2026, la d\u00e9gradation des relations entre Bassirou Diomaye Faye et Ousmane Sonko, notamment autour de la question de la dette publique et des relations avec le Fonds mon\u00e9taire international.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apr\u00e8s le d\u00e9part de Sonko du gouvernement, Pastef s\u2019est publiquement r\u00e9organis\u00e9 autour de son pr\u00e9sident. Lors de son congr\u00e8s de juin 2026, Ousmane Sonko a d\u2019ailleurs \u00e9t\u00e9 reconduit \u00e0 la t\u00eate du parti avec 589 voix sur 598, selon Le Monde<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le dossier FMI ravive les divergences<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

La question \u00e9conomique constitue aujourd\u2019hui l\u2019un des principaux terrains de confrontation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le d\u00e9put\u00e9 Pastef Guy Marius Sagna a ainsi vivement critiqu\u00e9 l\u2019accord conclu entre le S\u00e9n\u00e9gal et le FMI. Dans une d\u00e9claration publi\u00e9e d\u00e9but septembre, il a qualifi\u00e9 cette nouvelle coop\u00e9ration de \u00ab trag\u00e9die \u00bb et estim\u00e9 qu\u2019elle pla\u00e7ait le S\u00e9n\u00e9gal sous un \u00ab contr\u00f4le politique \u00bb du FMI. Ces propos sont ceux du d\u00e9put\u00e9 et ne constituent pas une appr\u00e9ciation ind\u00e9pendante sur l\u2019accord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cette position illustre les divergences persistantes au sein du pouvoir autour de la strat\u00e9gie \u00e0 adopter face \u00e0 la dette et aux institutions financi\u00e8res internationales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Une recomposition politique en cours<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Au-del\u00e0 des d\u00e9saccords \u00e9conomiques, la rupture entre les deux p\u00f4les de l\u2019ex\u00e9cutif ouvre une nouvelle s\u00e9quence politique. Pastef demeure structur\u00e9 autour d\u2019Ousmane Sonko, tandis que Bassirou Diomaye Faye exerce d\u00e9sormais la fonction pr\u00e9sidentielle sans son ancien alli\u00e9 \u00e0 la Primature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le parti lui-m\u00eame affirme vouloir poursuivre la mise en \u0153uvre de son projet politique et appelle ses militants \u00e0 rester mobilis\u00e9s et \u00ab focus \u00bb sur ses objectifs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Entre divergences sur la gouvernance, d\u00e9bat sur la dette et critiques de plus en plus ouvertes, la rupture entre les deux figures issues de la m\u00eame famille politique s\u2019impose d\u00e9sormais comme l\u2019un des principaux enjeux de la vie politique s\u00e9n\u00e9galaise.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
