Le pr\u00e9sident s\u00e9n\u00e9galais Bassirou Diomaye Faye prend part \u00e0 cette rencontre aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de ses homologues africains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Renforcer les capacit\u00e9s de financement du continent<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le sommet des \u00c9tats fondateurs du NEPAD, organis\u00e9 \u00e0 <strong>Nouvelle-Alamein<\/strong>, intervient \u00e0 l\u2019occasion du 25\u1d49 anniversaire de la cr\u00e9ation de l\u2019initiative devenue aujourd\u2019hui l\u2019<strong>Agence de d\u00e9veloppement de l\u2019Union africaine (AUDA-NEPAD)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les discussions portent notamment sur le renforcement du r\u00f4le de l\u2019agence dans la r\u00e9alisation des priorit\u00e9s de d\u00e9veloppement de l\u2019Afrique et sur la mobilisation des ressources financi\u00e8res et techniques n\u00e9cessaires \u00e0 la mise en \u0153uvre de projets structurants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dans ce contexte, le plaidoyer port\u00e9 par Bassirou Diomaye Faye s\u2019inscrit dans une r\u00e9flexion plus large sur la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 pour les pays africains de disposer de m\u00e9canismes de financement mieux adapt\u00e9s \u00e0 leurs besoins de d\u00e9veloppement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Une question de souverainet\u00e9 financi\u00e8re<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La question du financement africain occupe une place centrale dans les \u00e9changes. \u00c0 la cl\u00f4ture du sommet, le pr\u00e9sident \u00e9gyptien Abdel Fattah al-Sissi a notamment appel\u00e9 l\u2019Afrique \u00e0 s\u2019appuyer davantage sur ses propres ressources et \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper des m\u00e9canismes africains de financement. La d\u00e9claration d\u2019Alamein accorde \u00e9galement une place importante au secteur priv\u00e9 africain et \u00e0 son r\u00f4le dans l\u2019acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration des investissements sur le continent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cette orientation rejoint les pr\u00e9occupations exprim\u00e9es r\u00e9cemment par le pr\u00e9sident s\u00e9n\u00e9galais \u00e0 New York. Le 22 septembre, Bassirou Diomaye Faye avait plaid\u00e9 pour une r\u00e9forme de l\u2019architecture financi\u00e8re mondiale, tout en soulignant les difficult\u00e9s auxquelles l\u2019Afrique reste confront\u00e9e : d\u00e9ficit d\u2019infrastructures, sous-industrialisation, acc\u00e8s insuffisant aux financements, dette et ch\u00f4mage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>L\u2019AUDA-NEPAD au c\u0153ur de l\u2019Agenda 2063<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les \u00c9tats fondateurs \u2014 <strong>\u00c9gypte, Alg\u00e9rie, Nigeria, S\u00e9n\u00e9gal et Afrique du Sud<\/strong> \u2014 entendent \u00e9galement renforcer la capacit\u00e9 de l\u2019AUDA-NEPAD \u00e0 accompagner la mise en \u0153uvre de l\u2019Agenda 2063 de l\u2019Union africaine. Le sommet a permis d\u2019examiner les moyens d\u2019acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer les projets continentaux et de renforcer la coordination entre les institutions africaines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pour le S\u00e9n\u00e9gal, la participation de Bassirou Diomaye Faye intervient parall\u00e8lement \u00e0 une s\u00e9rie de rencontres \u00e9conomiques en \u00c9gypte. Le chef de l\u2019\u00c9tat s\u2019est notamment entretenu avec les dirigeants de la Banque nationale d\u2019\u00c9gypte et du groupe Infinity autour de partenariats bancaires, commerciaux et \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u00c0 El-Alamein, le d\u00e9bat d\u00e9passe ainsi la seule question de la mobilisation de capitaux : il pose celle de la capacit\u00e9 du continent \u00e0 financer, mettre en \u0153uvre et ma\u00eetriser lui-m\u00eame ses grandes priorit\u00e9s de d\u00e9veloppement.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
