Apr\u00e8s plus de <strong>quatre ann\u00e9es de difficult\u00e9s<\/strong>, riverains et jeunes du quartier se sont mobilis\u00e9s pour r\u00e9habiliter un canal d\u2019\u00e9vacuation effondr\u00e9 et am\u00e9nager un radier de fortune afin de maintenir la circulation.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Quatre ans d\u2019attente<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les fortes pluies ont aggrav\u00e9 l\u2019\u00e9tat de la chauss\u00e9e, d\u00e9j\u00e0 fortement d\u00e9grad\u00e9e. \u00c0 chaque averse, les eaux accentuent l\u2019\u00e9rosion et fragilisent davantage la route, faisant craindre aux riverains une extension des d\u00e9g\u00e2ts vers les concessions voisines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Selon <strong>Ch\u00e9rif Sidath Di\u00e9dhiou<\/strong>, habitant du quartier, plusieurs d\u00e9marches auraient \u00e9t\u00e9 entreprises aupr\u00e8s des autorit\u00e9s et des services municipaux, sans qu\u2019une solution d\u00e9finitive ne soit apport\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00ab Cela fait quatre ans que nous crions notre d\u00e9tresse. [\u2026] Ils sont venus, ils ont constat\u00e9, mais sur le terrain, on nous r\u00e9p\u00e8te toujours que ce sera pour demain \u00bb, d\u00e9plore-t-il.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">La jeunesse prend les choses en main<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Face \u00e0 l\u2019urgence, les jeunes du quartier, sous l\u2019impulsion notamment d\u2019<strong>Ousmane Ngom et Ousmane Thiam<\/strong>, ont d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de se mobiliser avec leurs propres moyens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ils ont proc\u00e9d\u00e9 au remblaiement des zones fortement d\u00e9grad\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019aide de <strong>sable, pierres et gravois<\/strong>, tout en intervenant sur le canal d\u2019\u00e9vacuation des eaux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Une initiative citoyenne salu\u00e9e par les habitants, mais qui reste, selon les initiateurs, une <strong>solution provisoire<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Un appel \u00e0 une intervention urgente<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"848\" height=\"478\" src=\"https:\/\/koldaweb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/IMG-20260903-WA0331.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-877\" srcset=\"https:\/\/koldaweb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/IMG-20260903-WA0331.jpg 848w, https:\/\/koldaweb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/IMG-20260903-WA0331-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/koldaweb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/IMG-20260903-WA0331-768x433.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 848px) 100vw, 848px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les populations reconnaissent que la reconstruction durable du canal et la r\u00e9fection compl\u00e8te de la chauss\u00e9e n\u00e9cessitent des moyens techniques et financiers importants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Elles appellent ainsi la <strong>municipalit\u00e9 et les services de l\u2019\u00c9tat<\/strong> \u00e0 intervenir rapidement pour r\u00e9aliser des travaux d\u00e9finitifs sur cette voie tr\u00e8s fr\u00e9quent\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pour les habitants d\u2019Escale, l\u2019objectif est d\u00e9sormais d\u2019\u00e9viter que la d\u00e9gradation de la route ne s\u2019aggrave davantage et surtout de <strong>pr\u00e9venir un \u00e9ventuel accident<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La mobilisation communautaire aura permis de r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 l\u2019urgence.
